巴西现当代建筑系列讲座
BRAZIL MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY
讲座背景
20世纪的巴西，在欧洲与北美以外走出了一条特别的现代建筑之路，对于中国也有重要的启示与参考价值。为此我们利用此前举办“山与精神生活”（Mountain and Mind）的便利，特邀巴西著名的建筑历史和理论家卡洛斯·爱德华多·考莫斯（Carlos Eduardo Comas）教授就巴西现代建筑做系列讲座。

教授简介
考莫斯教授早年就学于巴西阿莱格雷港，美国费城，法国巴黎。现就职于巴西阿莱格雷港南大河州联邦大学，同时他也是巴西国家研究委员会高级研究院士，并担任ARQTEXTO杂志主编。他在2007-2011年间担任了巴西DOCOMOMO主席，并在2015年担任了纽约现代艺术博物馆拉美展览的主策展人。
在过去四十年中，他的主要研究方向包括巴西与拉丁美洲的建筑与城市理论，巴西现代建筑师对布杂（Beaux-Arts）传统的转译，以及拉丁美洲对柯布西耶的影响。他在国际主要建筑类期刊如2G, AA Files, JAE, A&V, Arquine, Arquitextos, Les Cahiers de la Recherche Architecturaleet Urbaine上发表了大量论文，并出版数本研究专著，包括Latin America in construction. Architecture1955-1980 (2015)- which he co-edited with Barry Bergdoll, Jorge FranciscoLiernur and Patricio del Real, Larecherche patiente. 本系列共有四讲，各讲之间既有历史时段上的连续，也有类型上的差异。前三讲通过聚焦典型建筑来再现不同历史时期的主要命题，第四讲则对现今巴西的状况以及年青一代建筑师的实践进行“扫描”。通过这四讲，希望能够给大家一个兼有历史广度又有主题深度的对巴西20世纪现代建筑之路的认识。
