以同时反对形式主义和政治决定论为基础，本演讲系列探讨形式与政治的关系，即功能的和文化艺术领域中的空间或物质的形式与各尺度的具体历史背景下的社会政治活动之间的关系。演讲首先聚焦福柯学说中的微观权力空间，然后分析研究明清故宫的微观政治空间的运行；随后的研究课题是地理尺度的1945年以来东亚现代建筑的一些片断及其与动荡的地缘政治的演绎的关系；之后的课题是朗西埃理论中的“美学”范畴与“政治”范畴何以构成共同体的问题；其后的演讲，关注王澍的形式语言和写作结构，并试图在文字和思考参照系的层面上与隈研吾进行比较；最后，演讲系列探讨作为历史知识体系的“中建史”的建构和解构，以及背后的政治意识形态问题。

Opposingboth formalism and politico-determinism, this lecture program explores a set of topics in which spatial and material forms in a utilitarian orcultural-artistic realm is intertwined with a socio-political practice in a certain historical context of micro, mid-range or geopolitical scales. A studyon Michel Foucault is followed by a study on imperial palace of Beijing as a field of micro spatial politics. This is then followed by a geopolitical study on episodes of modern architecture of a few states of East Asia from 1945 on. The next study, following Jacques Rancière, examines how ‘aesthetics’ and ‘politics’ are inextricably interconnected. A formal and textual study on WangShu is then provided, in which Kengo Kuma’s texts are also included for comparison. Finally, we venture into the realm of knowledge and historiography, in the case of the ‘History of Chinese Architecture’, to discuss ways in which knowledge and politics are once again intertwined.

主讲人：朱剑飞
朱剑飞，伦敦大学博士，墨尔本大学副教授。从事建筑理论、批评和历史研究，尤其以中国、亚洲、比较研究、形式批判和社会分析为关注重点。他发表了“天朝沙场”、“中国与西方之间的批评性”和“帝国的符号帝国”等论文（刊登于AA files, Journal of Architecture, Harvard Design Magazine）；出版了《中国空间策略：帝都北京》（2004年Routledge出版，2017年中译本由三联书店出版）；主编了《中国建筑60年：历史理论研究》（中国建筑工业出版社，2009年）。他的文集《形式与政治：建筑研究的一种方法》2018年由同济大学出版社出版。
Jianfei Zhu is Associate Professor, at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is the author of Chinese Spatial Strategies: Imperial Beijing(London: Routledge, 2004), Architecture of Modern China: A Historical Critique(London: Routledge, 2009)and Form and Politics(Shanghai: Tongji University Press, 2018). He is also the editor of Sixty Years of Chinese Architecture(1949-2009): History, Theory and Criticism(Beijing: China Architecture & Building Press 2009).
