Frontiers of Architectural Research (FoAR) is an OPEN ACCESS international journal that introduces and reflects significant and pioneering achievements in the field of architecture research. The subject areas include the main branches of architecture. Papers are dealing with architectural design and theory, architectural science and technology, urban planning, landscaping architecture, existing building renovation and architectural heritage conservation.
The journal was established by Higher Education Press and Southeast University in 2012, and the editor-in-chief is Jianguo Wang (Southeast University). FoAR now is indexed in Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI), Scopus, Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
