Zhou Xin, winner of the Outstanding Youth Contribution Award of the International Performance Simulation Society, the third-level training object of the 333 High-level Personnel Training Project in Jiangsu Province. In 2015, she joined the School of Architecture of Southeast University. She is currently the subject editor of the SCI journal Building Simulation, Vice Chairman of the Building Simulation Committee, the deputy secretary-general of the Simulation Committee of China HVAC Association, the member of the Education Committee of the Internal Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA), and the ASHRAE SSPC140 Voting Member, ASHRAE TC 7.10 Voting Member. She is mainly engaged in theoretical research and teaching related to green and low-carbon building performance simulation. She was a visiting scholar in the Building Simulation Group of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

The main research directions include low-carbon urban building environment, flexible load prediction and analysis, green buildings, etc. In recent years, she has hosted several scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, and the National Key R&D Program. She has published over 80 academic articles in important academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 70 SCI-indexed papers, with the H-index of Web of Science is 25. As a participant, she won the first prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology, the first prize of Jiangsu Land and Space Planning, the UDAD Gold Award, and the third prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, etc.
